Independence Day
Good morning. This is Dr. Joe Cincotta. As we approach Independence Day on Wednesday and as we recognize Civil Rights Day today let’s take some time for appreciation of these intangibles. Let’s commit to improve our foundation of freedom. The journey to date has seen its’ high and low moments, and we will continue to face challenges and opportunities. My medical background compels me to recognize in a special way the work of our medical professionals in these efforts. It is in these settings that we find the best of professionalism, dedication, competence, training, and teamwork. These medical professionals work tirelessly without regard to or interest in our differences. Rather, they focus on what we have in common and strive to improve our community and our world. We can and must make a better world. The challenge is calling out for our individual participation. Opportunities abound for doing good and making a positive difference. We only need to seize them. Thank you.
