Allied Health Professionals and Radiology Technologist Week
Join us in recognizing these important roles in Health Care.
Good morning. This is Dr. Joe Cincotta. This week we celebrate both Allied Health Professionals Week and Radiology Technologist Week. It is important for us to pause and recognize the important work of these individuals. They are professionals who work hard each and every day to schedule appointments, to perform tests, to comfort patients and their families, and to perform a host of other tasks that create a positive and personal medical experience. They work in hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices, public health clinics, and a host of other settings. They have special training in their field of expertise. Basically without the help and support of these different health care team members I could not do the work I must do everyday. So, thank you to everyone who fills these roles. Health care is a diverse and rewarding opportunity for anyone seeking to contribute and to make a positive difference in our community. Regardless of whether you are a high school student or a college student considering opportunities for your future to someone seeking a change in career, health care is an opportunity worth your consideration. Thank you.
